After payment, we match you with a local instructor who'll contact you within 24 hours (by phone or text — your choice). You'll arrange your first lesson for a time and pick-up location that suits you. Most learners have their first lesson within a week of booking.
Your intro lesson is £66 for 2 hours (or £132 for 4 hours) paid to us. After that, you pay your instructor directly for ongoing lessons — no more payments through our site. The DVSA recommends around 45 hours of professional tuition for a complete beginner, so total cost is typically £1,200–£1,800 spread over several months. There's no obligation after your intro lesson — it's completely pay-as-you-go.
Yes! Our instructors offer lessons mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. When your instructor contacts you, you'll agree a regular time slot that works for both of you. You can tell us your preference when booking and we'll match you accordingly.
Absolutely. When you enter your postcode, we match you with an instructor who covers your area. They know your local roads, roundabouts, and test routes inside out. We're a national driving school with 500+ instructors, but your experience is always local.
We offer both. A manual licence lets you drive both manual and automatic cars. An automatic licence only covers automatics but can be easier and faster to pass. Choose what feels right for you — both are available with our instructors.
Absolutely! Refresher lessons are perfect if you passed years ago and haven't driven since, or if you want to build confidence in specific areas like motorways or parking. Just select "20+ hours experience" when booking and let your instructor know you're looking for a refresher.
Your instructor will work with you to find times that suit your schedule. If for any reason you can't agree on suitable times, contact our team and we'll either match you with a different instructor or discuss your options. We want to make sure every learner is happy with their arrangements.
Yes! After your intro lesson, you and your instructor will agree on a regular weekly slot. Consistency is key to learning quickly. Most learners have 1–2 lessons per week until they're test-ready.
